CDF Checklists Database: this online database represents the first successful attempt to establish a comprehensive taxonomic register of all species reported from Galapagos. Additionally, the list provides detailed information about the origin and distribution of the species, according to current scientific knowledge. The list constitutes a unique reference tool about the species of this tropical archipelago.
Total number of species names online 9750 (8099 accepted), 448 rejected.
Origin of taxa: 1762 introduced species, 4448 native species.
CDF Collections Database. This is our database of specimen data of our Natural History Collections. Search here for biological specimens collected inthroughout the Galapagos Archipelago by CDF staff and visiting scientists. The database also contains many records of historic specimens collected in Galapagos but deposited in collections all around the world, not only in Galapagos.
There are 93806 unique specimens currently on line.
CDF Meterological Database. This application allows you visualize Galapagos weather records and download our current data sets. Presently two sites on Santa Cruz record daily weather variables, one weather station is located in the highlands and one is located at sea level.

CDF Galapagos Research Online Archive. This is the online archive of the Galapagos Research Journal, published by the CDF. The journal covers all aspects of scientific research in Galapagos. Using this application you can search for individual articles and download both articles and entire volumes in pdf format. You can also directly submit your scientific article to the editor.
