Galapagos Species Database
The Galapagos Species Database shares the information about the species from our Natural History Collections.
In our Galapagos Species List we openly share the information from the Charles Darwin Research Station Natural History Collections database, curated by researchers from all over the world during several decades.
Species Search
To look for information on a species, you can search it by its common or scientific name, filter by the IUCN Red List categories or by species origin, or generate a list of all the species included in one of our Species Checklists. A click on the species name will take you to its page, where you will find information about its ecology, distribution, taxonomy, and more.
You can also download the previous publications of our species checklists.
You are welcome to download and use the information found in this page, acknowledging its source.
