The Galapagos Species Database shares the information about the species from our Natural History Collections.
In the Galapagos Species Database we openly share the information from the Charles Darwin Research Station Natural History Collections database, curated by researchers from around the world over decades.
Species Search
To look for information on species found in Galapagos, you can search by common name, scientific name, family, class or order, or filter by the IUCN Red List categories or by species origin, or both! A click on the species name will take you to its page, where you will find information about its ecology, distribution, taxonomy, and more.
