Distribution: Species described from China, found in Norway, Germany, Poland, France, Austria, North Korea, Vietnam, Java, Iraq, Canada, the United States of America, Mexico, Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, New Caledonia, and now on two of the Galapagos Islands (Thibaud & Jacquemart, 1991).
