Adams, 1852, Caecum pygmaeum C. B. Adams, 1852, Caecum suave de Folin, 1869 (Horton et al., 2021). Finet (2001): Two lots from the Galapagos, identified by A.M. Strong, are in the CAS collection (CAS 27221 and 27232). Hertlein & Strong (1955) mentioned also the species from the Archipelago. However, according to Draper (pers. comm., 1983), the specimens might be misidentified and Caecum firmatum is probably not a Galapagan species.
