Plant sap; upper transition and Scalesia forest; malaise and FIT; May. Found on roots of various grasses and sedges, also some Solanaceae and occasionally other herbaceous dicots; important pest of rice. Anholocyclic (except in some populations in Japan and probably other areas of southeast Asis, with alternation to Prunus spp.).
