Syn.: Adalia galapagoensis Van Dyke, 1953, fide Peck (2006). This species is stated as the sister to Cycloneda sanguinea (Vandenburg 1992: 380). An Isabela record in the original type series is based on a misidentified Olla (N. Vandenberg, in litt.)
