Habitat: Known from a single small specimen, taken off Black Beach, Floreana, in 1938 by the Hancock expedition.

Distribution

Distribution: Eastern tropical Pacific from Costa Rica to Talara, Peru, and Cocos and Galapagos, a disjunct population at Gorda Banks, off Cabo San Lucas, Baja California.
