Distribution: British Columbia, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Bermuda; north Atlantic, Mediterranean. Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, Australia, Chile, Southern Atlantic,Ecuador in Galapagos Islands of in Isabela, Floreana (Banta & Redden, 1990).
