Distribution: (C. cylindrica) Peru, North of Gorgona Island, Costa Rica, Panama and Galapagos Island in Isabela, south and east of Daphne Major (Fraser, 1938). United States, Canada and Galapagos Islands in Isabela, Floreana and Daphne Major (Cairns et al., 2002; Calder et al., 2003). Galapagos Island in Sombrerero Chino, Floreana (Fraser, 1938) and Santiago (Calder et., 2003). (G. gracilis) Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico and Galapagos Island in Isabela (Fraser, 1938). Costa Rica, Lower Cali. and Galapagos Islands in Isabela, Floreana, Santa Cruz (Calder et al., 2003; Fraser, 1938).
