A relatively common sponge found at Isla Guy Fawkes, Gordon Rocks at Santa Cruz, Daphne Minor, Rabida, Isabela, Santiago Los Hermanos Islands, 9-30 m; found growing on rock or branches of (Antipathes galapagensis) lack coral (Hickman, et al. 2021).
