Syn.: Pecten (Pseudamusium) polyleptus Dall, 1908 (Horton et al., 2021); Cyclopecten polyleptus (Zamorano & Hendrickx, 2012) Cyclopecten polyleptus (Dall, 1908), distributed from Bahía San Carlos, Son., to the Galapagos Islands, its type locality, has records from the continental shelf to 650 m (Skoglund 1991a) and it is known also as Pecten polyleptus or Delectopecten polyleptus (Zamorano & Hendrickx, 2012). Note: This species is recognized like Pecten (Pseudamusium) polyleptus Dall, 1908 (NMNH, 2022), actually is synonymous (Horton et al., 2021)

Origin: Native

Distribution: Distributed from San Carlos Bay to the Galapagos Islands (Zamorano & Hendrickx, 2012).
