Syn.: Phonorhynchoides haegheni Artois & Schockaert, 2001 (Horton et al., 2021).; (P. haegheni) Holotype :Material. Several animals studied alive. Three whole mounts (Florida), one of them designated (LUC no. 213), another one paratype (LUC no. 214). Three animals from Florida serially sectioned, 22 sectioned specimens from the Galapagos (Artois & Schockaert, 2001).
Origin: Native
Distribution: (P. haegheni) Galapagos Island in Santa Cruz, Bartolome and Tower: Bahia Darwin (Artois & Schockaert, 2001).
