Galapagos sarcostemma
Stems slender weakly climbing sometimes twining about one another with many lateral branches, calyx lobes ovate and corolla rotate-subcampanulate purplish turning black, seeds brown.
It is found in openings among trees in Opuntia-Bursera stands in the arid lowlands. It is found less frequently in the higher altitude transition zone (Wiggins and Porter 1972).
