Freely branching shrub glabrous, leaves numerous short-petiolate with the blade elliptic subtriplinerved, corymbiform clusters terminating on short axillary shoots and staminate heads unknown.

Origin: Endemic
Distribution: Species known from five populations on four islands: Isabela (on the volcanoes Alcedo and Sierra negra), Floreana, Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal. It is probably diminished on all of these islands.
