Diffuse and several-stemmed from base erect weakly, leaf blades deltoid to lance-ovate, heads small, white, strictly discoid, corollas black with form of disk, pappus none.

Origin: Endemic
Distribution: Species present on the islands of Isabela (on the Sierra Negra volcano), Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal, Santiago and Floreana. There are few records and everywhere it seems to be scarce. Most records are from areas damaged by agriculture or feral animals.
