Distribution: One bird was seen at Cape Hammond, Fernandina, on 1 November 1972, two were photographed at Cormorant Point, Floreana, on 2 December 1972 (Harris 1973) and another one was seen at the same location on 30 November 1978, and two were recorded at La Lobería San Cristóbal, on 1997.
