Herissantia crispa (L.) Brizicky

monacillo blanco, babosilla, escobilla, bladdermallow, curly abutilon

Subshrub, 0.5-1.5m tall, with simple hairs and slender branches. The blades are ovate and greenish and the flowers are solitary in axils. The fruit is densely pubescent (Wiggins and Porter, 1971).

Found in scanty to deep soil in partial shade. From sea level to Transition Zone (Wiggins and Porter, 1971).
