Scavenger; littoral to pampa zones; January–June, September; October; under bark of bushes, in upper and back beach litter, in Sesuvium and Heliotropium litter, and on Opuntia sp., Cryptocarpus pyriformis HBK., Bursera graveolens (HBK.) Trian. & Planch., Scalesia affinis Hook. f., and Scalesia pedunculata Hook. f.
