Phthorimaea perfidiosa Meyrick, 1917

Polilla gelechiide, Twirler moth-gelechiid moth

Male (n=12) (Figs 15, 16): Head with ocelli. scape without pecten. Forewing length: 3.5–4.5 mm. sternum viii elongate, as long as two preceding abdominal segments, all equally sclerotized, with straight base, narrowly rounded apically; tergum viii as long as sternum, tongue shaped, with membranous basal 1/3, with strongly concave base (Landry & Roque, 2010).

Found at sea level in February, March, and May.
