Thyrinteina umbrosa Herbulot, 1971

The moths have much browner wings than are found in infans; the males are darker than the females. The length of the forewings varies from 9.1 to 11.2 mm in the males (n = 5); in the females, from 12.1 to 16.7 mm (n = 24) (Landry & Rindge, 1995).
