Disk-shaped body with pectoral and ventral fins appearing more as legs; circular gill opening behind pectoral fins. Brown to tan or gray upper body; underside cream to whhte. Size: To about 18 cm
Habitat: Sand and volcanic substrata, in depths between 3.5 and 73.5 m.
