Origin: Native
Distribution: Indo-Pacific; off mainland Costa Rica, and at Clipperton, Cocos, Revillegigedos and Ecuador in Galápagos islands.Tropical Indo-Pacific from East Africa to the Americas, mouth of the Gulf of California to Ecuador, all the oceanic islands of the Eastern Pacifc.
