Malacoctenus zonogaster
trombollo panzimanchado, Spotbelly blenny, Belted blenny
Color pattern varies with sex. Males have transparent or dusky dorsal, anal and pectoral fins with few spots, but the caudal may be spotted. Six irregular, but uniformly dark, bars on body (these rather poorly defined on s. Lengths of 75 mm.
Habitat: Occurs throughout the Archipelago,along the rocky shores to depths of at least 10m, most commonly just below the intertidal zone.
