Abudefduf troschelii
banderita, sargento mayor, petaca banderita, Panamic sergeant major
Elongated, disk-shaped. Usually yellow back and silver to white head and belly: oftten with bluish and blue-green tints. Breeding males hange color to blue. Lengths of 18 cm.
Habitat: Shallow waters; small aggregations near coral and rocky reefs. Known from sites off Bartolome, Punta Espinosa, Fernandina, Cormorant Bay, Floreana, Hood, Tagus Cove, Isabela, Santa Cruz, Sullivan Bay, Santiago, and South Seymour.
