Distribution: Tropical and subtropical waters; in the eastern Pacific from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and the Gulf of California to Panama and oceanic offshore islands and Galapagos. Circumtropical. Gulf of California to Ecuador and all the offshore islands of the Eastern Pacific.
