Bothus mancus
lenguado, lenguado tropical, Tropical flounder
Body ovate, sexual dufferences develop at about 23-25 cm, characterized by the male having very elongate pectoral fin on eyed side, tentacles on eyes, wider inter-orbital space, and spines on snout and above eye; brown with numerosu variable-sized white to pale blue spots, some forming small partial circles; also scattered dark brown spots present. Size: Up to 45 cm.

Origin: Native
Distribution: Widely distributed from Durban, South Africa, to the eastern Pacific: in the eastern Pacific principally known from oceanic islands: Cocos, Revillagigedos, Easter, Clipperton and Ecuador in the Galápagos Islands.
