Size: 30-60 cm, Shades of bluish gray to gray and brownish gray with fine line markings. Can pale or darken and change intensity of banding.

Origin: Native
Distribution: Eastern Pacific, from Baja California to Guayaquil, Ecuador including Galapagos, Southern Baja California and lower Gulf of California to Chile. Galápagos, Cocos and Malpelo Islands.
