A burrowing tube anemone distinguished by numerous marginal tentacles arranged in three pseudocycles, with the tentacles on the outer cycles shorter and thinner than those of the inner cycles.
Found in sandy substrates with gentle current, between 12-30 m. Other colonies exist in James Bay, Devil's Crown, and Rabida.
