Tubastraea floreana
coral pétreo, Stony coral
A bright pink cup coral distinguished by small, closely spaced cylindrical coralites, 4-6 mm in diameter and calices 4-5 mm deep.
Uncommon in Galapagos, but found on the ceilings of caves,and rock overhangs on the west side of Floreana, Gardner Island, Espanola, Pinzon and Cousins, to depths of 40 m.
