Finet (2001): As the few “records” of Cancellaria urceolata Hinds, 1843 from the Galapagos seem to be based on misidentifications of Cancellaria gemmulata Sowerby, 1832, the occurrence of C. urceolata in the Galapagos, mentioned in Finet (1985; 1991), becomes dubious or spurious and is likely to be rejected.
